B. Ring sizes

1. General topics

The ring size is decisive for comfort. The new ring should be comfortable but not too loose. It also must not press on the finger. For this reason, your ring size must be determined as precisely as possible in advance. Please take note of the following:

Ring sizes can be both circumference measurements (inner circumference of the ring: 50, 57, 62 mm etc.) as well as diameter measurements (15.9, 18.1, 19.7 mm etc.). Rings from Niessing are described with circumference measurements. If you know your diameter measurement, you can easily determine the corresponding circumference measurement: Just multiply the diameter measurement by 3.1415 (pi).

2. Measuring the ring size

When measuring the ring size, please note that the width of a finger changes in response to the ambient temperature and other influences. In the evening, fingers are generally thicker than in the morning, and they are thinner on cool days than on warm ones.

3. Different measurement systems

4. Sample ring

Are you uncertain of your ring size? No problem. During the order process, you have the option of requesting sample rings from us in order to measure your ring size correctly. As soon as you have determined your size, send us the information by e-mail. Niessing will then manufacture your personal ring based on this information. It is not necessary to send the sample rings back to Niessing.
