Designers

The language remains

Personalities shape designs. These bear the individual signature of the jewelry designer. However, the jewelry is always recognizable as typically Niessing. How does that work? Niessing engages in modern design management. This protects the uniform design language. Over the long term.

Many renowned designers have worked for and currently work for Niessing. Most of their designs are still within the collection today. Because good design stands the test of time.

Niessing design is the result of a continuous development. The fundamental approach has always remained the same. Every piece embodies an idea, a principle. This is where the design is focused. This design language is a hallmark of Niessing. It is retained regardless of who the respective designer is. Niessing has laid the groundwork to ensure this.

Since 1979, Niessing has had an internal design department. It was established by the granddaughter of the company founder, Ursula Exner, and built up by the gold and silver smith Peter Eiber.

The design management plans strategies for product development and for designs. It controls the visual character and content of the jewelry. Here, the concepts for the Niessing shops are developed and the strategic orientation of the Niessing brand is defined.

Trained jewelry designers are responsible for designing new jewelry lines and for communicating the design contents. Under the leadership of product designer Timo Küchler, they maintain and expand on existing lines and manage the designs of the external designers. Their duties also include transferring designs into production.

The consistent design work based on the formulated philosophy yields contemporary, widely recognized jewelry designs.
